Keyboard Errors

1) If the keyboard is not responding:
-USB connection may be lost for a moment. Unplug the keyboard and plug it back in.

Plug the keyboard into another USB port.

-Plug out other unused USB devices.

Try it on another computer to find out the keyboard is working.

If you're using a wireless keyboard, troubleshoot wireless connectivity issues. So check with your troubleshooter.

2) If some keys are not typing on the keyboard:

-You can remove the keyboard keys and clean them with alcohol cotton.

-It should be checked whether any key is pressed or not.

-Update the keyboard driver from the device manager or uninsta

ll and reinstall.

3) If the character entered on the keyboard is different from the character displayed:

Liquid might have been spilled on the keyboard.

Language change may have occurred. Check the keyboard language settings (F keyboard to Q keyboard, Q keyboard to F keyboard).

- The computer may be infected with a virus. Virus scan should be done.

- One of the CRTL, Shift, or ALT GR keys may have been pressed down.

4) If the keyboard detects commands late:

It is necessary to test by removing the keyboard that is being used and re-inserting it.

Keyboard with USB port should be tried.

-The driver of the keyboard may not be installed.

-You need to update the driver from the hardware features.

5) If the character printed on the keyboard does not appear and instead contains meaningless words such as "vtr, vdc":

Remove your keyboard from the Tool Manager section and start the computer again. Later

You have to make it advertised automatically by the system.

-If a keyboard with multimedia feature is used, it should be investigated whether there is software for the keyboard and its settings should be checked by installing it in the system.

-When numlock is turned on in laptop computers, it can cause problems in some situations. The keyboard may need to be used after this key is turned off.

6) If the enter key is not working:

-The keys should be removed and cleaned carefully.

-It should be checked whether any other key is pressed or not.
